System Thinker. Problem Solver. Full-Stack AI Architect.

Building end-to-end solutions that bridge the gap between physical systems and digital innovation

With over a decade of coding experience and a background that spans mechanical engineering to business development, I bring a unique cross-disciplinary perspective to every technical challenge. This allows me to deliver end-to-end AI solutions that typically require an entire team—with the efficiency and cohesion of a single mind.

The Origin Story

My journey began with childhood curiosity. I was fascinated by toys that moved mechanically—wondering about the "magic" of science. One of my earliest eureka moments came when I took a motor from a toy car, pedaled my bicycle to spin it rapidly, and saw it light up a bulb. That simple discovery opened up a world of possibilities in my mind.

As the son of an army officer, I lived across different regions of India, adapting to new environments and perspectives. Despite limited resources, my curiosity drove me to seek knowledge wherever I could—borrowing textbooks from seniors, repairing neighborhood computers with Linux distributions, and exploring the mechanics behind everyday technologies.

This wasn't a planned career path—it was the natural evolution of a problem solver seeking better tools to tackle increasingly complex challenges. The common thread throughout has been my desire to understand systems deeply, whether they're mechanical, digital, or somewhere in between.

A Decade+ of Problem-Solving

Early Foundations (2011-2015)

My technical journey began while studying mechanical engineering, where I first encountered C++ programming in 2011. What started as academic curiosity quickly evolved into a passion as I discovered Python in 2015 and began applying it to automate personal tasks and solve engineering problems.

During this period, I was simultaneously developing a deep understanding of physical systems through my mechanical engineering studies—this dual perspective would later become one of my greatest strengths.

Skill Expansion (2015-2019)

At Chegg, I honed my technical problem-solving abilities by tackling over 4,000 complex STEM challenges, developing frameworks for addressing multi-disciplinary questions efficiently. This experience taught me how to break down complex problems into solvable components—a skill that's invaluable in systems architecture.

My time at BYJU'S added another crucial dimension: business acumen. Beyond generating ₹50 lakhs in revenue, I learned to view technology through the lens of user needs and business outcomes—a perspective that continues to inform how I approach technical solutions today.

Professional Evolution (2019-Present)

As a freelance developer, I built end-to-end solutions across diverse domains—from automated cryptocurrency price trackers to custom document generators. Each project expanded my toolkit and adaptability, teaching me to select the right technologies for specific problems rather than forcing favorite tools.

At The Insights Machine, I dove deep into AI and machine learning, developing custom RAG systems, sales pitch optimization tools, and court document validation applications—each solution tailored to specific industry needs.

Most recently at MeetMinutes, I've designed and implemented complex AI architectures that bring together all of my previous experience—from custom fine-tuned LLMs that achieve near-GPT-4 performance to multilingual NLP pipelines that extract insights from meeting data.

The Cross-Disciplinary Advantage

Engineering + Software

I approach digital systems like physical machines—optimizing for efficiency, resilience, and purposeful design. My mechanical engineering background gives me an intuitive understanding of system dynamics that purely software-trained developers often miss.

Example: When building a RAG system for the insurance industry, I designed the information flow like a physical pipeline, with precise "pressure points" for extraction and transformation—resulting in 87% faster processing than conventional implementations.

Business + Technical

My experience in business development gives me insight into what creates actual business value. I prioritize solutions that deliver ROI, not just technical elegance—focusing on outcomes rather than just capabilities.

Example: For a financial services client, I optimized an LLM deployment to work on existing hardware rather than requiring expensive GPU upgrades, saving $420,000 in infrastructure costs while achieving 84% improvement in processing speed.

Educational + Development

Years explaining complex concepts has made me an exceptional communicator. I translate effortlessly between technical and business stakeholders, ensuring alignment throughout the development process.

Example: For CallQA, I created a system that doesn't just evaluate customer service calls but actually teaches agents how to improve—resulting in a 41% increase in agent performance scores within 90 days.

Problem Reframing

I don't just solve the problem presented—I question whether it's the right problem to solve. This approach often reveals simpler, more elegant solutions that address root causes rather than symptoms.

Example: Rather than building a complex regex-based document validation system, I recognized that transforming documents into structured XML would address the fundamental need more effectively, reducing error rates by 94%.

Problem-Solving Philosophy

"I don't just solve problems—I question whether they're the right problems to solve."

My approach to problem-solving starts with stepping back to understand the underlying need. For example, when a client asked for a meeting transcription tool, I identified that their actual need was for actionable insights from meetings—leading to a comprehensive conversation intelligence platform that delivered far more value than simple transcription.

This reframing comes from my unique blend of engineering principles and software development. In mechanical engineering, you learn to consider the entire system before designing a component. I apply this same thinking to software architecture—understanding how each piece contributes to the whole before writing a single line of code.
